License Agreement

All materials are published under the Creative Commons Attribution License International CC-BY.

By submitting their materials for publication in the Licensee's publications, the author confirms acceptance of the terms of this agreement.

The author declares that the submitted materials:

  • do not infringe the copyrights of other individuals or organisations;
  • have not been previously published in other publications and have not been submitted for publication to other media.

The author retains copyright over their work, while the publisher has the right to the first publication under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution License International CC-BY, including:

  • publishing articles in english and distributing them in print;
  • translating articles from ukrainian to english and distributing the printed versions of these translations;
  • distributing electronic versions of articles, as well as english translations of articles, through various electronic platforms (the journal’s website, electronic databases, repositories, etc.).

In all cases, providing a bibliographic reference to the article or a link to its electronic version on the official journal website is mandatory.

 

                                                             PUBLIC AGREEMENT

                                                 ON THE PROCEDURE FOR PUBLISHING AUTHOR ARTICLES

1. General Provisions

1.1. This document constitutes a public offer (hereinafter — the “Offer”) by the publisher of the journal Plant and Soil Science, addressed to an indefinite number of persons, to enter into an agreement under the terms set out below (Article 633 of the Civil Code of Ukraine).

1.2. The publication of this text on the official website of the journal constitutes an offer to enter into the agreement under the conditions specified herein.

2. Parties and Definitions

2.1. Under this Agreement, the Author acts as the Licensor, and the journal’s Publisher acts as the Licensee.

2.2. “Materials” refers to the author’s articles and accompanying files intended for publication in the Licensee’s editions.

3. Procedure for Conclusion (Acceptance)

3.1. The Agreement is concluded by the Author’s full and unconditional accession to its terms without any reservations or amendments (Article 642 of the Civil Code of Ukraine).

3.2. Acceptance is deemed to occur when the Author submits materials for publication in the Licensee’s editions, following prior approval of the article’s content between the Author and the Editorial Board.

4. Subject and Licence

4.1. The subject of this Agreement is the publication of author articles in the journal Plant and Soil Science.

4.2. The Author retains copyright to their work under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution License International (CC BY) and grants the Licensee the right to:

4.2.1. publish articles in English and distribute printed versions thereof;

4.2.2. translate articles into English (for articles originally written in Ukrainian) and distribute printed versions of such translations;

4.2.3. distribute electronic versions of articles and their English translations (for articles in Ukrainian) by any electronic means, including publication on the official journal website, in electronic databases, and in repositories.

5. Confirmation of Rights Allocation

5.1. The fact confirming the allocation of rights between the Licensor and the Licensee under this Agreement is the publication of the author’s material in the journal Plant and Soil Science.

6. Liability of the Parties

6.1. The Parties shall be liable for failure or improper fulfilment of their obligations under this Agreement in accordance with the current legislation of Ukraine.

7. Dispute Resolution

7.1. Any disputes or disagreements arising in connection with the execution of this Agreement shall be resolved through negotiations between the Parties.

7.2. If no agreement is reached, the dispute shall be settled in court in accordance with the legislation of Ukraine.

8. Final Provisions

8.1. In fulfilling the terms of this Agreement, the Parties shall, in all matters not regulated herein, be guided by the legislation of Ukraine.

8.2. Submission of materials by the Author constitutes full and unconditional acceptance of the terms of this Public Offer.
