According to the State Statistics Committee of Ukraine in 2015-2017 оn the poultry breeding enterprises, on average, native chicken litter was formed: the flask - up to 3 million tons / year, non-pertussis - up to 1.5 million tons / year. On the basis of these wastes, powerful organic fertilizer production can be deployed, but there is now an obvious lag behind developed countries.
This determines the relevance of the study of heat and mass transfer in the processing of solid waste from agro-industrial enterprises, the results of which can be used in the production of formed fuel or fertilizer products.
The purpose of the research is to obtain data for the development of technologies for the production of dry molded biofertilizers by wet-forming working mixtures using sorption additives. Experimental studies of the physical-mechanical characteristics of the initial, working mixtures by adding sorption additives were performed.
Wet molding of working mixtures in the production of dry molded products is much less energy-consuming. It is known that with dry molding, the moisture content of the working mixture is 15-18%, the temperature reaches 80-120 ° C, the molding force is 20-50 MPa. Wet molding of the working mixtures takes place in a humidity range of 45 to 65%, with the forming forces being 2.45-5.68 MPa.
Conclusions and perspectives:
1. A general analysis showed the presence of a significant amount of poultry waste to 5 million tons per year. This allows us to apply different approaches in the technologies of organic waste recycling. One of these methods is the promising technology of wet formation with the addition of sorbents.
2. It is known that the addition of sorbents increases the pressure of the formation of granules. However, the studies carried out have shown that the optimally selected amount does not affect the formation of pressure increase of more than 5.68 MPa and allows obtaining a qualitative molded moist product.
3. The proposed method of processing organic waste from poultry farms reduces energy costs by an average of up to 8 times compared with traditional methods of dry granulation.
