Abstract

The network of artificial protected landscape gardening objects of the broadleaf forests zone of Ukraine.

The most active development of natural reserves in the zone of broadleaf  forests (ZBF) is typical for Ukraine of XX century. Today ZBF of Ukraine is represented by such artificial objects of nature preserves: parks-monuments of landscape architecture (PMLA), botanical gardens, nature monuments (NM), zoological parks (ZP), dendrological parks (DP), reserves (R),  protected tracts (PT) and regional landscape parks (RLP).

The zone of broadleaf forests ofUkraineat 2015 includes 246 protected artificial objects. Consider their quantitative composition in terms of administrative areas in the region.

Nature Monuments. Network of artificial NM of ZBF of Ukraine  presented as 116 objects that are located in Ternopil, Lviv, Khmelnytsky, Rivne, Volyn, Ivano-Frankivsk  and Zhytomyr regions. The largest number of NM is in the Ternopil region and the lowest - in the Ivano-Frankivsk region.

The network of parks-monuments of landscape architecture. In the ZBF of Ukraine there are 102 PMLA, occupying an area of1,565.127 hectares (in Lviv region - 39,Khmelnitsky region - 34, Ternopil region - 13 Chernivtsi region - 7, Rivne region - 6, Volyn region -3. In the Ivano-Frankivsk and Zhytomyr regions PMLA are absent.

The network of dendrological parks represented as 13 objects that are placed in Ternopil and Chernivtsi region - 2 and Lviv region -2. Still not established DP in the ZBF in the Ivano-Frankivsk,  Rivne, Volyn  and Zhytomyr regions.

The network of botanical gardens (BG). In the ZBF of Ukraine there are eight BG, which cover an area of303.06 hectares. The largest number of BG located in the Ternopil  and Lviv regions - three,  in the Volyn region (BG "Volyn") and  Khmelnytsky region - one (Kamenets-Podolsky).

The network of protected tracts. This category of natural reserve fund (NRF) of ZBF represented in only two areas that have gardens and objects which are located in two regions: Lviv (larch plantations) and Ivano-Frankivsk (under planting).

The network of zoological parks (ZP). In the ZBF there are only three ZP which are located in Lviv, Ternopil (Lanovetsky zoobotsad) and Khmelnytsky regions (Kamenets-Podilsky ZP).

The network of regional landscape parks.  ZBF of Ukraine represented only one RLP - "Znesinnia" in Lviv city.

The network of reserves represented only one object (Khotyn Fortress), which is located in Chernivtsi region.

The most representative by presence of artificial objects are Lviv, Ternopil and Khmelnytsky regions. There sre 86 artificial protected areas (total area -1,075.76 ha) In Lviv region.  Ternopil region has 72 objects (total area -499.157 ha), and Khmelnytsky region presented by 55 objects (the total area  -801.13 ha).

Less developed among regions is Chernivtsi region, which includes 12 objects (with area -84.41 hectares). Rivne region presented  by 12 (total area -82.7 hectares). There are six objects (total area -37.12 hectares) in the Volyn region.

The least representative on artificial protected areas are networks of Zhytomyr and Ivano-Frankivsk regions. The second one includes 2 objects (total area -0.72 ha) and the first one includes only one object NM "Derevytski larches" area of20.0 hectares.
