Article Processing Charges
1. General Provisions
Publication of materials in the scientific and professional journal “Land Management, Cadastre and Land Monitoring” is carried out on the basis of partial reimbursement of costs associated with the editorial and publishing cycle, including scholarly and language editing, technical preparation of manuscripts, typesetting, proofreading, printing (where a print version is produced), and dissemination of materials in the electronic environment.
2. Publication Fees and Payment Procedure
The author(s), or the institution they represent, cover the publication costs in accordance with the fee schedule approved by the editorial office.
- Payment is made only after a decision has been taken to accept the article for publication.
- Publication fees do not affect the peer-review procedure, the content of reviewer reports, or the editorial decision.
- Any arrangements regarding payment are possible only after expert evaluation has been completed and the manuscript has been accepted.
3. Use of Publication Fees
Publication fees are used exclusively to cover costs related to:
- scholarly and language editing;
- technical preparation of materials;
- typesetting and proofreading;
- printing and distribution of the journal (where applicable);
- maintenance of the electronic version of the journal and its publishing infrastructure.
4. Additional Funding Sources
To ensure the journal’s sustainable development and to enhance the quality of publishing processes, the editorial office may attract additional resources, including:
- sponsorship and charitable contributions;
- grant support;
- partnership programmes with scientific, educational, and professional organisations;
- other funding sources that comply with applicable legislation and the journal’s ethical standards.
5. Financial Independence and Ethical Principles
The receipt of sponsorship or other funds does not influence the journal’s editorial policies, peer review, or publication decisions. All manuscripts are evaluated solely on the basis of scientific quality, relevance, methodological soundness, and compliance with the journal’s thematic scope.
6. Transparency and Accountability
Information on publication fees and payment terms is communicated to authors in the established manner. The editorial office ensures transparent and purpose-specific use of received funds in accordance with the journal’s policies.
