Sources of Financing
The journal “Land Management, Cadastre and Land Monitoring” operates under a mixed funding model that combines sponsorship support and author publication fees (publication fees/APC). This approach ensures the continuity of editorial workflows, an appropriate level of publishing infrastructure, and the journal’s sustainable development.
Editorial Independence
Decisions on whether to accept a manuscript for publication are made exclusively on the basis of:
- scientific novelty and contribution to the field;
- methodological quality and the reliability of results;
- compliance with the journal’s thematic scope;
- the outcomes of editorial assessment and peer review.
Financial payments do not influence editorial decisions and may not be regarded as a condition for acceptance for publication.
Use of Funds
Author fees are used to cover costs related to preparing materials for publication, including:
- editorial and technical processing of manuscripts;
- scientific and language editing;
- typesetting and preparation of the final publishable version;
- maintenance of the journal’s digital services, metadata, and publishing infrastructure.
Sponsorship support is directed toward the development of editorial and scientific initiatives, enhancing the journal’s visibility, and disseminating research findings within professional and academic communities.
Transparency Principle
The journal’s funding policy is based on the principles of transparency, integrity, and accountability. The terms and procedures for payment of publication fees are defined in accordance with the journal’s current policies and are applied equally to all authors.
